   Family Information

Kurin

Adopted at the young age of five weeks old from Spokane, WA. I lived in Yakima until I was eight years old. My family moved to Edmonds, WA in 1972. Most of my growing up years was spent there, going to school, hanging out at Edmonds beach, a lot of great memories! In the spring of 1992, I moved to Smokey Point where I have lived ever since. I am a full-time mother of two children.  I also work full-time as a Paraeducator.

"Cleaning your house while your kids are still growing is like shoveling the walk before it stops snowing."

-- Phyllis Diller

Ashley

The little social butterfly of the family.  At school, Ashley's involved in choir and other social events.  When she's not in the social mood, she enjoys relaxing at home watching movies or hanging with her friends.

Taylor

The rough and tumble boy of the family.  At school, Taylor's involved in many activities and loves to play baseball, football and basketball.  At home, he's more into plugging in and tuning out.

Luke

Luke joined our family about a year ago and he may have a rough exterior, but he has a very big heart!!

Family Pets

Fat Cat  2004-

Ashley's favorite kitty cat!  Acquired from her good friend Kenzie.

Margaret  2005-

Our most recent kitty cat, adopted from NOAH.  She's a short haired version of Fat Cat.

Family Pets-Lost but not Forgotten

  Shadow  1986-2001

Adopted from PAWS at the young age of five, this wonderful and sometimes feisty cat will be greatly missed.  Shadow passed away from kidney failure, she was fifteen.

  Sparky  1996-2006

Adopted from a local pet store, this fluffy Pomeranian, believed he was one tough Rottweiler.  He will be greatly missed.

Speedie  1998-2000

Another animal acquired from a neighbor.  The kids named him Speedie because he's a fast little kitty cat.  Sadly, he was just a little too fast.  He sped out the front door one day and we haven't seen him since.

   Fred  1997-

Acquired from a neighbor, this rambunctious nine year old miniature Dachshund sometimes acts more like a cat than a dog.

  Denali  1998-

Adopted from a local animal shelter, this beautiful eight year old Shepherd mix is the most loving and sweetest dog on the planet.

Morina Alison  2004-

After Speedie disappeared, things just weren't the same.  So, as a 40th birthday present to myself, I acquired Morina from a wonderful family from school.

The best inheritance a parent can give his children is a few minutes of his time each day.
